40m and 100m 6-ply medium sashiko threads in solid colours and shaded/multicoloured effects (all 40m threads listed first), ダルマ 'Daruma' by Yokota the first brand of sashiko thread I ever bought. This smooth, mercerised thread is also great for quilting big stitch and tying quilts (and lace crochet - that's what I bought it for, way back in 1991, without knowing what it was!). It is the same weight as my other 100m medium sashiko thread and the two can be used together to extend your colour palette. Also available in fine 4-ply sashiko thread, in a slightly different range of colours, as 170m skeins and on 40m cards.
