Ruby Star Society's 'Warp and Weft - Moonglow' wovens for Moda, this pack of forty two 5in squares includes the whole range, in shades of blues, reds, oranges, yellows and more.
Limited stock - and I can't reorder these, because they were the last the wholesaler could get for me.
These are not Japanese fabrics, but are typical good quality from Moda, with interesting weaves, and they remind me of late C20th wool kimono fabrics very much! They would give a great colour accent to a boro inspired project, among other things. I'm combining mine with the 'Yukata' and 'Urban Gatherings' charm packs to make a simple checkerboard scrap quilt, about as easy as it gets, and something that will make a lovely snuggle up quilt next winter.
forty two (42) x 5in squares
pinked edges
NB - because these patterns are woven and not printed, some of the squares may not be exactly on grain, and it shows. I'm using a pack for a scrap quilt, and I like the quirkiness this gives to the patchwork, with some of the fabrics obviously not straight. It would also look good on a piece of boro. But if you are someone who hates having their fabric grain slightly off true, maybe give this pack a miss!
