This subtle new 'Space Dye' range by Figo Studio for Figo Fabrics has a subtle varigated stripe effect made by the shaded warp threads, which have been sace or dip dyed to give shaded colour effects. They are a fantastic alternative to solids where you also want a hint of a direction in your patchwork. They would be beautiful additions to a Japanese boro inspired fabric or for mixing with Japanese fabrics in patchwork projects, as they have an echo of meisen and kasuri ikat kimono fabrics. They would also be beautiful for clothing and lightweight home dec projects.

I have twenty four different colours in stock. This listing is for Pottery Bark, a rich cool taupe mid brown (first photo - the other photos show more, but not all, from this range).

Above all, the space dyes have a tactile hand-woven quality and display deep colors well since all threads are dyed prior to weaving. There is no wrong or right side to space dyes - a plus for quilt-makers.
