A thicker cotton fabric from Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., printed with a traditional sarasa floral design on dark red. NB - this is not a metallic print. £1 coin included in the detail photo for scale. 
 
These Olympus sarasa fabrics have a slightly looser weave and lower thread count than patchwork fabrics, and are similar to some sashiko fabrics, the Olympus Takumi
 and Sevenberry 'linen look' Nara Homespun range
, so they are great for sashiko stitch, bag making, boro inspired work etc. They would coordinate beautifully with my sashiko panel range from Olympus.Very limited quantities! Olympus have discontinued these fabrics and I was lucky to get hold of the very last bolt they had in their warehouse.
