Incredible value, Osnaburg natural seeded cotton is the perfect choice for that rustic country look that is so on trend at the moment. It is strong, durable and lightweight. Ideal for a contemporary take on sashiko, stitched in coloured threads, or for including in boro inspired projects.
 
I chose this fabric because I’ve used Osnaburg for sashiko before, when I wanted a different base fabric. I think you will love it too. It is so versatile - great for costumes, doll making, home decor, and wearables. It can be dyed, painted or printed. I tried indigo dyeing some many years ago, and it came out beautifully.

Cool machine wash. Cool tumble dry - manufacturer’s recommendations. Personally, I would not tumble dry this fabric. There was so much lint in the dryer on the one occasion I did this!
