Incredible value, and an excellent choice for clothing and home dec where a beautiful texture, and a soft drape is required. It looks like linen but is way more breathable.
I chose this fabric because it feels so similar to some Japanese fabric I’ve used for sashiko, and I think you will love it too. It would be especially nice for a furoshiki wrapping cloth or a garment with sashiko highlights ( use 1.5m). It would also make a great choice as a foundation fabric for any boro inspired projects. At 147cm (57in) wide you get a lot of fabric for your money.
This listing is for navy blue, which makes a great substitute for deep indigo. The second photo shows the weave more clearly in the tan colourway (sorry, not in stock).
Also available in wine and purple.
This fabric is sold by the HALF METRE, and will be sent as one continuous piece.
