Jason Yenter's 'Elysian' collection takes it's inspiration from the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology, but with this print he has scored a big hit for all us fans of Celtic design - triskeles, with an overall red appearance but with purple, coral, oranges, and golds! The jewel like colours are digitally printed, so you get all the depth and variation of colour like a batik, but on a fabric base that isn't too tightly woven for hand quilting. It would be great for clothing as well as a patchwork coordinate, or to go with a sashiko panel. This design is also available in turquoise/blue and deep purples.
