Jason Yenter's 'Elysian' collection takes it's inspiration from the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology. This faux patchwork print in deep purples is so versatile, creating the illusion of piecing without needing to do any... Squares are approx 3in. You could cut it to make a faux 4 patch... also useful where you want a patchwork look without the bulk of too many seams.
The jewel like colours are digitally printed, so you get all the depth and variation of colour like a batik, but on a fabric base that isn't too tightly woven for hand quilting. It would be great for clothing as well as a patchwork coordinate, or to go with a sashiko panel.I managed to grab a few other designs from this range before they became impossible to get via the wholesalers, so check them out too.
107cm (42in) wide (approx).
