Rugged nature inspired these watercolour-like designs by Deborah Edwards and Melanie Samra for Northcott. This running yardage shows a stunning waterfall and forest scene (first photo). Although inspired by North American landscapes, it reminds me very much of the landscape of Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. The digitally printed patchwork fabrics really show off their distinctive watercolour style beautifully, and would look superb in a patchwork with the other fabrics and panels in the collection (photos 2 - 9), to coordinate with sashiko, or as a blender for other projects. Digitally printed.
Running yardage means that it is a continuous pattern, running parallel to the selvedge. Repeat is 60cm, so please order 1 x 60cm (for one repeat), 2 x 60cm (for two repeats) etc.
