Rugged nature inspired these watercolour-like designs by Deborah Edwards and Melanie Samra for Northcott. This blue and teal abstract print shows a stylised forest (first photo). Although inspired by North American landscapes, it reminds me very much of the landscape of Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. The digitally printed patchwork fabrics really show off their distinctive watercolour style beautifully. Digitally printed.
