This listing is for the lush border fabric, the perfect frame for a quilt made using other fabrics from this collection. Peonies and butterflies form the double border design, which is printed on a black background four times across the width of the fabric (first and second detail photo). Simply stunning! I love a special border fabric that brings a whole collection together so well.

I used a lot of these kinds of prints in my books 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match' and 'Japanese Quilt Inspirations', and they aren't so easy to find at the moment, so I'm always pleased when I spot a new collection coming up. This one even has a lovely border print (last photo).
