This 'Stitched Linen Tapestry' by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda would make an idea coordinate with any of the greige (natural unbleached) cotton/linen blend hanafukin sashiko sampler panels, or to include in a taupe project. The four way symmetry in the pattern just invites fussy cutting too. Each repeat is approx. 4 1/4in across, so with a little adjustment, it could be mixed in with the 4 1/2in sashiko squares from my Sashiko 365 book (I would suggest cutting the sashiko squares to the same size as the printed fabric repeat). Lots of possiblities! Although it is a Christmas fabric, it isn't obviously so, and could be used all year.
The second photo, included for scale, is slightly paler than in real life.
