From the 'Yukata' range by Debbie Maddy for Moda, this patchwork fabric is printed to look like an antique katazome (stencil dyed) fabric. 'Medarion kumo' means 'medallion clouds'. Ideal for patchwork, plus lining or backing your sashiko projects. It would make a stunning jacket lining.
I have been lucky enough to get the last available bolts from this range, at a special price, but it also coordinates perfectly with Debbie's 2024 'Indigo Blooming' range, now in stock.
NB - limited quantities, and I can't reorder this one!
Genuine old katazome cottons that look just like this cost an arm and a leg in Japan nowadays, and this makes a very convincing substitute for your patchwork, dressmaking, boro, home dec and other projects. Patchwork weight cotton.
110cm (43in) wide (approx).
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '1' for a half metre, '2' for one metre etc.
