I couldn't resist this adorable mermaid print from the 'Drift Away' collection by Sue Schlabach for Windham fabrics. I've been collecting fabrics for a Mariner's Compass quilt (with sashiko accents of course) and it looked perfect, but it would be a beautiful addition to many other patchwork projects (and great in an I-spy quilt!) Mermaids and seahorses swim on a pale blue background.

Quantities are limited, and I can't reorder this.
 
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads.
