100% cotton evenweave 'Congress cloth', specially made for kogin by Olympus Thread Mfg. Co. in Japan.  Pre cut and packed in Japan. Beautiful for kogin stitching and slightly thicker than the 20 count linen kogin fabric. Available in several colours. This listing is for shade 1033, a rich red. It is the fabric used for the coaster with the golden yellow thread in the fourth photo. In comparison, the more vivid red fabric used for the coaster in the fifth photo, with the shaded thread, is Zweigart Bellana 20 count evenweave shade #954, also in stock.
 
This listing is for a half metre, so for larger pieces please order mutliples.  It will be sent as one large piece.

Susan's tip - zigzag or oversew the edges of the fabric before starting to stitch, to prevent fraying.
