A fantastic potluck selection of 100 x 10cm charm squares, twenty different fabrics with five squares of each. These are all great quality mainly taupe fabrics (the latest batch has a few with packs with a floral print or two), mainly wovens (there may be the occasional print), with different weave effects - plaids, Jacquards etc., cut and packed for you by Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., Japan. What will you make with yours?
UPDATE - another consignment of these popular packs has just arrived (see the last two photos). The fabric selection looks slightly different to the earlier ones I had, so for maximum variety I’ll send mail orders out of the new stock. That way if you’ve already bought one before, you can be guaranteed of a different selection this time.
 
I’m about to start making another boro tote bag with this pack, and have some more lined up for a very simple squares quilt - although I can’t make my mind up whether to go for a randomised dark/light checkerboard or make nine patch blocks (with five of each fabric, that is an option…)
 
These are thicker ‘linen look’ fabrics, 100% cotton, so I will be taking slightly larger seam allowances than my usual quarter inch to allow for slight fraying. Of course, for a boro inspired bag, I want some interesting fraying.
